Bowman Park

Bowman Park is a 4.7 acre neighborhood park in Greenacres. It is located off of Bowman and S Haverhill Roads. The park is open sunrise until 10 PM. I stopped by Bowman Park to enjoy a picnic lunch from nearby Totally Awesome Subs. The park was not overly crowded and I had my choice of several tables to choose from. it was a beautiful afternoon to enjoy a meal outside. Other Bowman Park amenities include two lighted basketball courts, a gazebo, playground, benches, and an exercise path that winds through the park along with some piece fitness equipment that uses your own body weight to tone muscle. The trees throughout the park provide beauty and welcome shade. There is also open area for unstructured play. Note that there no restroom facilities in the park. I found Bowman Park to be clean and well maintained. Whether you're looking to exercise, enjoy a picnic, watch the kids play, or simply relax outside, Bowman Park offers a welcoming space for all.

I went to Rambo Park, but it was closed for renovation so I decided to come here. This park is not good for daytime at all; there is ZERO shade. It also isn’t good for babies; the playground is more for older kids like 3+. The only baby thing is the swing. However this park is amazing at night. It’s breezy with lots of lighting and we felt safe since so many kids were playing. There is also a spacious walkway, soccer field (rough type), and a huge basketball court.

This is a small and laid back park. The playground is not very large at all ,but it does have plenty of space to run around and have fun. You will not find crowds of people and loads of munchkins. You won't find adults crouched low, elbows out sprinting for the one empty picnic table there eyes fixed on the ultimate prize. lol. Because it's a small park it is much easier to keep an eagle eye on your kidos. Sadly, I did not find any grills or pravillions here. I could also did not see any bathrooms. That's just weird. Perhaps I missed them? overall, a great little park.

Nice little park in a residential neighborhood. It has 4 basketball baskets for kids to play. There are slides and Swings for smaller kids, a walking trail, seating for elderly. The parking is limited thou about 8 to 10 spots. The park has some exercise facilities too. There are quiet a few people in park in evenings.

I take my nephew to bowman park usually every Saturday. He likes it. It's clean and a nice park. There are some older roughneck kids there in the back of the park. Other than that, it is cool.
