Went Hiking on the brand lateral trail, it was a good workout. Very steep, I slipped, but managed to get through it. Incredible views with alternative ways to get to the top

I came here at night and whoa it was still beautiful. As you enter you are greeted by a line of palm trees. Keep driving in for way kore parking lots. There are restroom that decent wise for park vibes but at least there are restrooms and running water. There are at least two restrooms throughout the park that I know of. It’s definitely not the Four Seasons so keep that in mindZ Free and plenty of parking. I shall have to come back during the day and check out the Japanese tea house, Doctor House, and the gazebo! And also of course the stunning views I have heard about. It’s safe to say it may take more than a day and the right time to explore this large park.

I had such a lovely time here with my wife, we just spread out a blanket, had a little picnic, and soaked up the sunshine. The park is bigger than I expected, with plenty of shady spots, open lawns, and easy trails if you feel like wandering a bit. It felt so peaceful and relaxed—one of those afternoons where time just slows down. My favorite part of the park has to be the Japanese Friendship Garden and Shoseian Tea House. Walking through that little oasis with the koi pond, stone paths, and carefully tended greenery was so calming. We spent a few minutes just wandering and enjoying the quiet—it’s amazing that such a serene spot exists right in the middle of the park. Beyond that, the playgrounds, fields, and historic buildings like the Brand Library & Art Center make it feel alive without ever being too crowded. I left feeling happy and calm after a hard day at work.
