It happened to be closed at the time I was here. I didn't see anybody working while it was closed for maintenance, but it is nice to know that the park has a small dog park and a large dog park area. It's very clean and lush green grass like back home in Kentucky

Today I finally realized there was a dog park in my town so I decided to take old auger’s there. He hasn’t been to a dog park in quite some time and seemed a little anxious so we decided to walk around the area instead. We will definitely be back here Throughout the week from now on there’s a playground and a skate park. Looks like there’s also an area for dirt bikes, or BMX bikes. They do have a bathroom and a pavilion and several other little pavilions. You could have a nice picnic at. The dog park was pretty awesome looking they do have a spot for small dogs separated from the big dogs. There is small areas that are covered for shade and it looks like a pretty good park all the way around.

Great park for taking your pups to run around in fenced in play area. The kids love the skate park area, and folks use the BMX field too. The use in that field is also good for running RC type toys. I see folks with drones, and kites all the time. I went down to the water front and got some really nice pics of boats, dolphins swimming by. There's an area with cattails and some black ducks, along with a 6' gator. It's such a beautiful day, blue skies, some low streaky clouds. We we're in the middle 60's today. I went over by the marina area, and got some great pics of the boats too. Great afternoon to spend time with our daughter and the 3 grandkids.

There are two sides, large and small dog. They offer water bowls, a tub and dog poop bags. The grass is not well maintained and litter is not cleaned. Don’t be surprised if you come on the wrong day and your dog is bit here. There is one owner who is proud that his herding dog bites other dogs on their back leg muscle. His usual response to a bite is your dog is fine or your dog is a drama queen. The dog should be muzzled or not taken to the park. Having to deal with this issue takes away from the enjoyment of spending time with your dog and adds a level of frustration to the experience. A lot of owners do not clean up after their dogs. You will step in dog poop! It’s everywhere, even though there is a sweet dog owner who cleans up the park daily. We all can miss things sometimes but to see your dog go and ignore it, that is another story. Some dog owners insist on smoking in the park and litter the place with cigarette butts. You can find many cigarette butts in the grass and on the picnic tables. I’ve even seen dogs eating them, which is very sad. We have met some good dog owners here that take care of the park and their dogs. They are the reason to keep coming back. With a little bit of effort and personal responsibility, this could be a wonderful place to socialize your dogs.
