Beautiful park located in the heart of St. Matthews. I've been going to this park since I was a little kid (25+ years) and the beauty of it has not changed. They have made some improvements to the playground/restroom area so it's more family friendly than it used to be. They also go all out during the holiday season with Christmas lights, which look absolutely gorgeous and magical during the night. Definitely recommend Brown Park, unless you have a fear of ducks (this particular park is a popular hangout for ducks and ducklings).

Nice, enjoyable, quiet, flat, paved little walk. There are multiple routes to take depending on how far you want to go. My dog is older, so we don't get as adventurous as we used to, so this is perfect. There is parking on site, it can get crowded during peak times like after school and the weekends on nice days. There is a duck pond. Restrooms are available, as well as a play ground.

Happy Christmas and happy New year. Fantastic decoration at brown park. Nice decorating lighting effect, enjoy your evening. Very good park for kids playing and long walking trails. Nice small flowing ponds with many ducks. Recently renovated play area for kids is awesome.

Christmas lights were beautiful. If they made the lights run throughout the park I'd totally be willing to pay $5-$10 to walk through. It would also be cool if there were a hot chocolate and snack vendor.
