Bruce Pit is a great place to bring your dog for some good social time with the vast majority of dogs being well trained. I find it can be a mixed bag when walking in my neighborhood but no one wants to be the owner with a bad dog at the dog park lol. This particular visit we saw a beautiful sunset.

Bruce Pit is a very large dog park. Our dog absolutely loves it. There are many trails to choose from. Dogs get plenty of exercise at this park and humans too from all the walking. The parking lot is a bit rough as it's not paved.

BRUCE PIT - I mean there are no words to express this park and how lucky those of us who live in Ottawa and surrounding areas have this amazing Park. It is massive it has ample parking the people are amazing the dogs are friendly and come in all shapes and sizes. It never feels too busy as there's so much field. In the enclosed part the front entry is the only part that is not gated other than that you're in a gated Forest that allows your little ones to run free and off-road to catch their little friends.

This park was a highlight of our visit to Ottawa. Seeing dogs enjoying themselves, greeting other dogs, everyone was friendly, the forest was magical with snow fall. We visited Saturday morning and it wasn't very crowded. The park is huge, plenty room for everyone.

Beautiful winter walk, nothing challenging, open area if you stay in the pit, mostly covered forest if you take the Bruce pit trail around it. Plenty of parking.
