You need a key fob from the city to enter the dog park. My only complaint other than the lack of bathrooms is the mosquitos and biting flys. There are times it's unbearable to be there.
One of the best dog parks in the area. It's always clean. The kiddie pool has water in it. There's well used toys. They have a fenced little dog area with nothing in it, though. They have cute dog exercise equipment and I always meet good dog owners here. It's in the back of the kid park.
So grateful to live next to a shaded dog park. It’s just the right size. They have a separate part for small dogs and even built a new playground for the kids.
Nice dog park, completely fenced and appeared to be well maintained, lots of toys provided to keep the pooch entertained, there is even a designated area setup for dogs to practice jumping through hoops, ladder climb, pedestal and tunnel walk and an adjustable height high bar to jump. 07-29-2022 - PLEASE if you dog is aggressive, untrained, doesn't listen to your commands PLEASE stay home!! Today our 19 month old German Shepherd had to experience a behavior I wish he didn't have to, he was bitten (no broken skin) by an uncontrollable aggressive dog who looked like a Jack Terrier on steriods wearing a tacticle vest style harness, If I see you again I will ensure that this doesn't happen again.
Awesome place for dogs of all sizes and breeds to run and play. Plenty on doggie doo bag dispensers to clean up after your fur babies. Love it. Take my fur babies every day.
