I love Bosse Woods. It's a wonderful Forest preserve for picnicking, walking, and running. What made it even more significant recently is that I had my very first half marathon in Schaumburg Turkey Trot run on 11/29/2025 there, in snow and winter storm, but the path was very nice. I can imagine it would be a beautiful place and route for future runs in the future. It's also very beautiful when the leaves changing colors in autumn and when trees full of leaves in Summer and Spring too. I am grateful for living nearby.

Nice place to visit for outdoor activities. Multiple entrances and easy to park. Walking and Bike path around the whole preserve. Plenty of space for everyone.

I been there in 2024 and that was the first time in a long time that I went there and it hasn't changed a bit in all those years and have good hiking trails and some of the scenery is good and like the elk pasture.

Lived here my whole life and there are still parts of this forest preserve I haven't been to, there is lots to explore! The paths are clear and relatively flat, good for roller blading, walking , and biking. The Elks, which our village is named for, are right along the path and visible near a parking lot, too. You can rent boats in season, or just enjoy the solitude and beauty of the lakes.
