Pros- Grass!!!, lots of shade, manicured well, two dog areas so tiny dogs can be in their own area. Cons-NO Parking---Zero....NONE...also no water....which is terrible in the heat so pack a bag with some water before you walk here.

Nice park, me and the dogs come here almost everyday, we’ve met alot of great people and dogs here. The landscape is good and we love the little hummingbird, we named him Petey, wish they turn the water back on, but other than that cool place overall.

My dog loves this park, so let me explain the 3 stars. There’s 3 labeled areas (small, medium, large), but it’s really one small park (for small dogs, max 25 lbs) and one large park (for both medium and large dogs). Mislabeling = 1 star down. Then there is always mud and mud puddles on the big side, so we’re forced to use the small dog side (luckily my pup is still a pup)... Ironically, the water fountain outside both areas doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for several months. Water situation = another star down. But the biggest plus is there is lots of shade, so we can go anytime of the day, though we avoid peak time in the summer, so I’d like to give it 5 stars just for that. Then I remember that there’s no formal parking lot even though the park is open to all visitors, not just residents of Southern Highlands, and I don’t feel so bad about a solid 3 star rating. Hope they get the few issues fixed and I would be glad to update the rating to reflect. btw, the dogs that come here are agreeable, so don’t let this photo fool you. I just think it’s a well-timed, funny photo!

This is a nice big and clean dog park with enough room for our energetic Aussie to run. There were also some shade trees. We parked on the gravel covered hill across the street. The dogs were mostly nice, but a gentleman came in saying him and his dog were attacked there the day prior. It's important for everyone to know canine body language and attack procedures before going to off leash areas. Beautiful spot, would possibly return.
