Great park for many reasons. Play ball! Full diamond. Playground for those energy efficient kids. Path for walking, human or dog. 3 separate dog runs for specific types in a fenced off area of the park. Rich people across the street, mocking your existence. Priceless

Good afternoon to everyone. I have not made a post. And I usually do not leave a negative comment. Nevertheless, this park is awful. Henderson Park and recreation, please address this park asap. I have never seen parks, especially this one in such a poor state. I do not know where to begin. I will leave pictures to give a better explanation on what is wrong with a park. Even though I know many parents might be upset That the park will need to be closed for a week or two but they will be happy in the end result. Not only the park but also the skate park Needs to be addressed. There's broken boards missing nails missing screws. And also screws sticking out.

It's a really nice park, organized well. The walking path has censored lights, goes along the grass area and skateboard ramps, and continues to dog park areas, smaller than normal dog parks. For me, 800 steps per lap. Ball courts well lit, next to play ground and restrooms, also just off the parking area. This park also has a baseball diamond. Everything is steps away from each other and centrally located. Njoy FolkZ ✔️😁🤘🏼

Well kept dog park out behind the baseball diamond. Area for small dogs area for large dogs and a all dogs area. Russia a half acre maybe a little bigger in total size. I got there on a Saturday morning in the fall. There were two other dog owners running their dogs playing fetch on the baseball outfield. There were no people or dogs in the actual dog park. The dog park was clean lots of trash cans and several scoops for picking up the dog business. Overall great place to let the dogs run on the day I was there it wasn't very good for socialization.

The park is pretty hidden and very beautiful. They have a decent skate park and a very big baseball field that is not fenced. The dog park is very small though. I noticed the dogs like to play in the grass area better but most of the dog park area is made of little gravel. Maybe expanding the grass would make the dogs want to explore a bit more. Overall, it is a pretty decent park.
