Really beautiful park in Boston! It is truly beautiful! It is surrounded by the beautiful architecture of Harvard University. There is a really nice playground with a unique set up. It is non traditional in the respect that it is not set up like a normal playground.

I just ate there and, it was a very disappointing meal. The soup came out cold and steak tip were ice cold. The waitress never came back to check on us , so I got up to speak host and he never sent over the waitress. Finally we had to flag her down . They took the two items off our bill but the manger never came over till I asked for him. A very disappointing experience .

We had a picnic in the park. It was really odd because there were homeless junkies just sleeping on a mattress in the park🤷‍♀️ there were also non looking homeless people just sleeping in the park...like oh I got tired let me just go to sleep in the grass😳. So weird. The history in the park was amazing! The statues and the stories they told were awesome! Great learning experience for the kids it Boston seriously needs to clean up their parks.

Beautiful public park for walking and recreation while also a remarkable tribute and historic site marking the heart of the American Revolution and where Washington first took command of the revolutionary army. Special bonus is the new monument for the African American soldiers who fought and died in the revolution. So many aspects of this part of American history have been overlooked and underrepresented and this was a touching part of the park.
