This place is so beautiful. Plus the dog park is well taken care of. Their beautiful lake is gorgeous. Were dog trainers and we go here a lot. I highly recommend this awesome park.

I love this dog park! Lots of room and shade and places for the humans to sit! Excellent poop bags at the pick up stations, water fountain for the dogs. I like that it gives dogs the feeling of running free through the woods!

I have to say - totally in love with this dog park! 🐶 It's huge and doesn't discriminate on size, absolutely perfect! 🐾 It has plenty of seats and even a cute swing and picnic table for work. The vibe here is so chill and everyone's always on the lookout if their dog's acting a bit off – super considerate. The place is sparkling clean and they've got dookie bags and trash bins available too. 💕

After moving to the Charlotte area 5 years ago, this was the first dog park we visited. It was one of the largest and most accessible dog parks to the public. My buddy Duke made his first friend there that we still see all the time and make plans with elsewhere. It has a nice walking loop along a beautiful but small lake, and now connected to Little Sugar Creek Greenway, which is a great option if the dog parks gets too packed and your dog needs a nice break by hiking through beautifully maintained greenway. This is a 4 star rating because irresponsible dog owners visit this place, they bring small children or food, and often times the terrain has either broken glass or too many rocks that injure canine paws. My boy Duke split his claw there in a jagged rock while playing. Overall, great place. Needs improvement though.

Great, well maintained dog park! Although it is next to a lake, there is no water access for the doggos. This fenced-in park has a lot of great amenities for dogs and their humans: - trash bags and bins throughout - water station - picnic tables, benches and an iron swing - tons of shade with massive trees and pine needles to cover the dirt - minimal grass but that's expected in a dog park - easy parking - right off a Greenway trail and walking path around the lake (cyclists and families Highly recommend! We see a variety of dogs each time we go. Plenty of space to play with others or venture on their own.
