It’s nice and safe place for puppies and adult dogs to interact with each other. They provide a water station and a doggy bag station for you know what. The area is super clean. Some areas are still under construction, but no biggie. It nice to have an area near by where my little doggie can meet and mingle with other dogs, while I converse with their owners.

Many of Detroit’s downtown parks have a dog park, and this one is no exception—Capitol Park Dog Park offers a compact but spirited space for pups and their people in the heart of the city. The park features separate areas for small and large dogs, giving owners peace of mind while their pets play off-leash. Though modest in size, it’s well-maintained and surrounded by cafés, apartments, and shaded benches, making it a natural gathering spot for residents and downtown workers alike.

The Capital Park Dog Park is a wonderful spot in Detroit for dog owners and their furry friends. The park is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with water stations to keep dogs hydrated during play. The area offers plenty of seating for pet owners to relax while their dogs socialize and exercise.

A very clean and well maintained park it is a small one. How nice to see the pet owner chitchatting with another pet owner while their furry babies are playing. Inside this little park there is a bench to sit down. The poop trash bags is provided that way the dog park is always clean for other dogs to play. Opens from 7 am to 10 pm please check my photo for rules and regulations for the owners and the dogs. Happy pet happy owner 😉

What a great dog park, we stumbled across this park today on a walk from our nearby Airbnb. Very clean and well set up.
