Beautiful surroundings. Fed the geese and the ducks. Great place for a family outing.

Nice place to take my littles with special needs where we can get in and out quickly if the need arises. The zoo has seen better days, but... it's free so can't complain too much.

Carey Park has something for everyone, be they children or adults. I believe it hides perhaps its best content behind a large dike - the beautifully flowing Arkansas River, small strips of woodland, and a constantly changing riverbank. I have fond memories in this area of playing guitar with friends as we stargazed long into the night, dreaming about the future. Go off trail. Explore. There is so much more than meets the eye here.

Really nice bike path loops here. Lovely touches include a reflection pool, nice play areas, and easy access

Nice little (free!) zoo. Highlights include a pond of hungry koi and turtles and an attention-seeking roadrunner.
