Off the corner on 16th Ave and Josephine, you'll find a triangular clean space for your pup or pups to bring. The area is fenced and regulated by the Denver's city park rules (see picture). Dogs were well behaved and their humans too 😊

Three stars? Well there is no water and I don't recall seeing any poop bag holders for trash cans, but I am sure there must have been one there. And then of course there is that wonderful all-natural gravel. It looks like they even had to build a tall concrete wall to hold all the gravel. At least this part does have a covered place to sit down. And it's got a few big rocks out amongst all the gravel. But this is another one of those parks that would not be one that you would want to drive out of your way to go see. But, young lady did find an amateur MMA professional to have a few go rounds with!!

Great spot that usually has other dogs playing so it’s a good one to get the pup some exercise. Fully gravel and I’m told the water fountain is only turned off till April due to weather so I recommend bringing a water bottle to fill the bowls that are on site.

Good sized, clean, friendly dogs. Wish there was some greenery in addition to the gravel, but still a solid dog park.

Park is very small, filled entirely with sand. No grass or anything of the sort. Not enough space for more than maybe 3-4 dogs at a time. In the winter or rainy months it's a giant mud pit. There is always poop left throughout the sand box, though there are bag stations and trash cans scattered around. For whatever reason this is the only dog park that constantly results in my dog getting in the middle of dog fights. Not sure if it is the owners, the dogs, or the area itself. There's always at least one dog performing dominant behavior to the point of harassment. All other dog parks across multiple states all the way from Minnesota to Arizona she's never had any issues.
