Carousel Park

I visited the park for the sleep under the stars event. This was such an amazingly wonderful event. Filled with so much fun. Sleeping under the stars was very family oriented and everyone was so nice. My family and I will absolutely return for the next sleeping under the stars. Delaware State did its thing by creating this fun filled time. Clean port o potty, plenty of space to set up tents, fishing, petting farm, food trucks, crafts, trick or treating for the kids, contest, bon fires, , extraordinary time!!!

A hidden gem in Delaware. Peaceful trails, clean air, and the kind of silence that makes you feel alive. This park made me forget I was still in Delaware—pure nature magic! •Clean, quiet, and soul-healing. Exactly what I needed.

Great County park for hiking/walking/jogging. Entertaining for kids & adults with horses, swans & geese and mock up old west town by stables. Play area on site as well as very large fenced field for dogs. Some trails are asphalt, some gravel, and some dirt (in wooded area).

Great park to walk and explore. Only wish the trails were marked clearly. The first part doesn't feel like you're going the right way when you go past the police vehicles parking lot.. The map is okay at the info board, but I think the actual trails should be more clearly marked.

This place is magical. The calm, the water, and the green all are in harmony. You can take a walk and forget about everything. Horse riding training is available there and you can see beautiful and majestic horses roaming around. Would definitely go again. This park is open to the public and owned by the New Castle Mounted Patrol. There are picnic benches available.
