Great park for families. Lots of open space, some picnic tables, and playground area. Some things to be aware of - the ground is covered with goose/duck droppings especially near the lake, and one of the playground areas is closed off with caution tape. But none of these diminishes the value of a large grassy area for family and pet fun.

Lovely park nearly 11 acres in size. Hardly anyone is there besides the birds but there is bird feces everywhere! Wear some shoes you can hose down later. There are 2 playgrounds and the equipment is all in good condition with rubber flooring instead of sand. Also a set of swings with sand separate from the playground area. The entire park could easily host multiple sports games at a time with the degree of space that is available and grass field. There is a cute donut shop nearby we love to get breakfast at along with a few places to shop and eat closeby. This is a great park for picnics. Parking is convenient and plenty!

The park is okay, its got a great view of the pond, green grass, picnic tables and a barbecue, and playgrounds for kids. BUT there are a lot of geese and ducks there, so there's poop EVERYWHERE. No exaggeration, you cannot walk in the grass or the path without stepping on poop. They also swarm you when you enter the park, probably thinking you've got food. Kind of unsettling for someone brining their kids along. Just something to keep in mind. :)

After the recent rain (11/2025) Carr Park pond has flooded over more than I can recall than in recent years.

There's a small lake that was stocked the day before I visited. There's a cement walkway around the park and a whole lot of duck poop on it. Those are freshwater pelicans in the photo, if you don't recognize them.
