Such a stunningly beautiful park that pictures and videos doesn't do it justice but it helps. Great place for a picnic or for excellent photo ops.

Great place to relax and enjoy the sound of a waterfall. The colorful water makes it more beautiful.

Cascades Park has been a part of Monterey Park for so long that its city logo is even based off of it. Even though years go by and the city itself undergoes changes, this park still stands as it decades ago and is definitely a great place to stop and rest while taking in the city view from up top. You can find many stairs sloped in a way that'll be a fun and quick challenge to go through in order to reach the top, parking at the base as well as up on the hill which would require you to go through side streets first, and that beautiful mini waterfall that lights up during the night. Note what you see is what you get. It's more of a sightseeing place rather than an actual park so no playground, no restroom, and no picnic tables (though I did see a group of friends chilling on the grass).

This park has stairs to work out 🏋️. And a nice view of the city .

A hidden gem of the LA area. If this park were in Los Angeles proper, thousands of people from all over the world would come here to take touristy pics, but as it stands Cascades Park stands in a relatively quiet suburban neighborhood and tends not to be very crowded on most days
