This is a nice downtown park with a paved walking loop and gentle elevation changes that make it easy and enjoyable to walk. The path isn’t very wide, so side-by-side walkers can cause congestion; patience and a little courtesy go a long way here. There are plenty of water birds to watch along the way, which adds to the calm, observant pace of the park. It’s the middle of winter, so the landscaping isn’t at its best, but many of the trees are budding, hinting at what’s to come. Informational plaques throughout the park highlight historical landmarks and explain how the area has evolved over time, giving the walk a sense of place and context. It’s a great spot for a picnic, or you can stop by the restaurant next to the amphitheater for a meal. Parking is ample, both in lots and along nearby streets—just be sure to check whether parking is paid or free depending on the day and time.

Absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking landscape in the downtown area. I went in the morning, midweek, so it was not many people. It was very quite, very clean. A decent sized park with historical landmarks, playground. I really felt recharge after my visit.

Clean, easy walking trails and some beautiful historical spots as you walk or run. Places to grab a bite and a drink after you are done.

I felt safe walking around, I was able to walk my pet in a place, relaxing place along the different walk ways and listen to the sound of the waterfalls.
