Is this dog heaven? Our puppy loves this place. Dogs are allowed off leash in the whole park. There’s wooded trails, grassy areas to run around and a big pond in the center of the park where lots of dogs swim in. Ours is still water-shy but we’re using this park to get her more comfortable.

Cute park visited by many dogs. We were pleasantly impressed by dog owners' care for park etiquette. Everyone is mindful of their dogs and observing if space is needed/ leashes are needed to help dogs navigate the trails successfully. Everyone was courteous and nice, which is a basic thing to highlight but not one that can be taken for granted. It made the visit so much better! The trails are marked, but sparingly so. However, they are easy to follow as many loop around. Quite a number of trails all throughout. You can spend as much or as little time wandering around. This is a rare park and a treasured one! Many people are frequent visitors. I can see why. I am one now myself! (Dog trail ettiquette 101 in places with off-leash privileges: be aware of dogs who are leashed and call your dog by your side, then clip their leash back on. Seeing someone with a leashed dog usually means that their dog wants space, is easily overexcitable, or wanders off a bit too far. It does not mean it's a dangerous dog. Leashes are great at keeping dogs safe, whatever the case. So, without judgement, be nice and help your community by being a respectful and responsible dog owner. You can unclip your dog again after they both cross paths.)

Love this off-leash dog park. Have been coming here for 3 years now. Parking lot is open to residents only from Friday-Sunday, so that is a deterrent. However, there are small pullouts by the road at other entrances where one can park their car. Plenty of small trails to enjoy the forest with your dogs.

I’ve been to the park numerous times during lunch breaks as this is right behind Verizon office in Waltham. This weekend I decided to take my puppy there with my friends and all of us enjoyed it. This is such a huge area for the dogs to run around, chase and play. We were so lucky to be there when the lake was frozen. All of us were on the lake and our puppies had such a great time on the frozen lake. Our puppies covered 15 miles in this off leash dog park and we stayed there for almost 4 hours. If you are looking for parking during weekends, you can park your car at Verizon parking lot (it’s free & safe)and walk to the park via a small trail.

Very good hiking location. The intensity is low. There is a nice little lake there as well. Pretty good views! However, we didn't see any cats here but lots of people were walking their dogs.
