We had a great time hiking at Cedar Hill State park. The Dorba Trail was the perfect trail to hike. It is a well maintained trail with wonderful views and not too technical. Everyone we passed by said hi and it was just a perfect day. Can't wait to come back and hike the other trails located here.

Starting the DORBA Trail at Cedar Hill State Park is easy. The parking lot is convenient and close. There's a nice resting area to prep your gear. The trailhead is well-defined for both hikers and bikers. Ready to hit the trail!

An excellent MTB trail with some good challenging elevation all while nestled in a captivating beautiful Texas Forrest. A fun fast flowy challenging trail with 3 mile, 8 mile, or 12 mile loops. May be better to get a state park pass rather than spending $7 for every visit. This park should be on your list for DFW MTB riding. Lots of fun.

Very nice and quite State Park. We came the weekend after Veterans Day, and didn’t realize Sunday was free, which was nice. But the trails were closed due to wet conditions, so we only walked along the lake shore. So, it was fair that we didn’t have to pay :-) We will definitely come back when it is more dry to walk the Dorba trail.
