Cedar Hill State Park is an absolute gem. The park is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and offers stunning views of Joe Pool Lake. The trails are well-marked and great for hiking, biking, or just taking a relaxing walk in nature. Campsites are spacious and quiet, and the scenery at sunrise and sunset is incredible. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean, and it never feels overcrowded even on busy days. Whether you're camping, picnicking, or just escaping the city for a few hours, this park is perfect. Easily one of the best state parks in the area - highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys the outdoors.

Absolutely loved our visit to Cedar State Park! It’s a beautiful and peaceful place surrounded by nature. The park is very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of picnic tables, BBQ areas. We enjoyed walking by the lake and spending quality family time outdoors. Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway! 🌳☀️

Great experience! Beautiful park. Came in for a one night backpacking trip for a 5ish mile hike around duck pond, talala, and Penn farm trail. There are two primitive camping spots (mowed down grass in a circle to make camp), one by duck pond and one in the middle of Talala. The Talala one had better views but was colder because it was on a hill so I stayed at duck pond. There’s also fire pit family camping and RV spots, but that’s not why I was there. The trails were nice, lots to look at when hiking. I ended up getting turned around the next morning on my hike and ended up on the outskirts of the park, had to call the ranger office to come pick me up in a nearby neighborhood haha. Good adventure, I’ll probably go again

Nice place for a walk if you don’t mind it being a little less treed, than other parks (I.e. Tyler state park) but nonetheless, an enjoyable time. The park employees were very nice the facilities plentiful and thankfully, the park was not overly crowded. Seeing the 1800s farm and equipment was very cool!

It's a nice park, RV's and tent camping available on full hookup sides. We experienced that over the weekends people are trashing the restrooms 🚻 and just wondering or they do that at home also. A lot of people don't believe in picking up dog poop. My husband killed a lot of fire pits that people left behind without making sure that it was completely out. Please, take care of this beautiful Park. The staff is very helpful and nice.❤️
