Small, ugly, unkempt dog park, the city that owns this park has completely lost faith in this dog park by the apparent lack of features and the horribly kept conditions of the park. This park has a lot of potential but requires a lot of maintenance and it appears the city and it's people have been doing a poor job.

Took my dog around 530pm and there was plenty of dogs in the small dog area. There’s a couple of benches and a table + A water fountain for dogs. It was partly dirt and grass in the area and the park and neighborhood itself is quiet and nice. My rescue dog was a bit scared so we ended up walking him around the park and neighborhood. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere of this dog park and will be back again one of these days.

Great place to bring your dogs. Big or small. They have two different sections one for big dogs and another for smaller dogs. With local public restrooms and water fountains available. There are benches where there is shade so you can relax while your dog socializes with other mans best friend.

So, I had to deduct a star based on my experience with a poor dog owner. I came to this park months ago but unfortunately had to leave when a guy pulled out a box cutter on my boyfriend and I after we asked him kindly how long he would be in the dog park with his two Rottweilers. Now, I am not prejudiced against any breed of dog but my large dog is not great around other dogs. She actually belongs to my boyfriend's mom but she didn't train her and as a result, she is iffy around other dogs. I wanted to try and socialize her but didn't want to freak out other dogs in the park. So, I decided to wait until the park was free before bringing her in. You know, baby steps. I waited about 30 min and while I ran to the restroom a guy and his two Rottweilers entered. We kindly asked how long he had planned to be because our dog had been waiting and we simply wanted to introduce her to the park for about 15-20 min. He then told us he planned to be there for an hour and we asked if he could let us in alone for 15 min or put his dogs on a leash until we asses the situation. However, he said no and as we began to leave I told my boyfriend not to worry he's just rude. This caused the man to abandon his dogs in the park and start shouting obscenities at my boyfriend and me, all the while parents and children watching in dismay. He then proceeded to follow us to our car where he took out a box cutter to threaten my boyfriend. This caused me to have to step in between them and finally he walked away. I was more terrified that one of my dogs would try to protect us and get hurt on the process. Of course, I am aware that the dog park is open to all dogs but any respectable person would have been more than willing to take precautions to help a pup get comfortable before meeting a new dog. I also want to mention our large dog has never attacked anyone or any dog but we just didn't know and wanted to be safe. It's one thing to say no and it's another to threaten someone's life. That being said, we returned to the same park yesterday and only brought our small dog. The experience was pleasant and I liked that there are two cages to separate the small and large dogs. It looked like there was a group of husky owners who meet up at the large park and we enjoyed watching them play. There are also benches inside the park along with poop bags and water bowls. Outside of the park is a super cool looking spaceship playground and a little water park playground near the bathroom. My only thing was the first bad experience. To me, it made me feel like we were in the ghetto on gang territory. So I only suggest you be wary of the people there but also keep your heart open as the majority are very nice respectable people.

Decent place for your dogs to mingle with other dogs. Larger area for bug dogs. With another area designated for small dogs. Some grass and dirt sections. They do, at times, supply poop bags. To be safe, bring your own. Limited seating for you to watch. Also, a busted bench is still in there. Watch your steps as you know some people do not have common sense nor park etiquette. To pick up after their dog makes a mess. Trash cans are available. Pet drinking fountain located at the entrance. This is located off the street next to the public restrooms and playground area. Parking is on the street and not too bad. It's always open, more activity towards the evening time.
