This is truly the best place you can bring your dog. They care. It's clean, and there's lots of activities and enrichment to keep them busy and happy. The owner and all the staff are such wonderful people and show such attentive care to each dog. My Aussies always are so excited to go and leave happy and relaxed. I can't say enough good things about this place. Their grooming is also top notch! 10 stars!

I’ve been a dog owner for over 25 years. This is the first place I’ve found that I feel that I can actually relax on vacation. Meredith and her staff consistently go above and beyond what’s expected! Best part: my pups are soooo excited each and every time we pull into the Central Bark parking lot! For me, that says it all! Highly recommend!

When you're fortunate enough to find a groomer that cares, is talented at their craft, and willing to accommodate special requests when neccessary, you're truly blessed. Central Bark in Rochester is a relatively new operation, but their groomers are experienced. Amanda has been keeping my Shi-Tsu Benny handsome for over 10 years. The shop very clean, the staff friendly, and prices very fair. I know they provide a long list of services aside from grooming. Check out their website for details there. By the way, I live over 30 minutes from them and actually drive past other groomers to get the best for my old sidekick.

ANIMAL NEGLECT AND INCOMPETENCE-PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE & READ OUR EXPERIENCE We boarded our dog here that lead to a vet visit. The head trainer Conner reassured us they do not have stuffed toys in the facility, but we still requested it be put on our dogs “file” he CANNOT have stuffed toys, he will always eat them. The first day we dropped him off we received a photo of him playing with a stuff toy. I called and asked they remove it, they ensured me it would not happen again & it WAS on his file. Two days later we get another photo of him with THE SAME STUFFED TOY. Picked him up and nothing was mentioned regarding the toy from the employees. Once at home, OUR DOG THREW UP THE ARM TO THE STUFFED TOY. I called the owner Meredith, explained to her we know it’s from there because we do not have things like that in our home for this reason. She was very dismissive and didn’t even ask how he was doing. I asked they check their toys and let me know what was missing to ensure he didn’t have anything left in his stomach. After sending her a photo, she finally took me serious. PER Meredith, it was the same employee both times and she sent me a video days prior of staff throwing the toy away with the missing limbs. Claiming no one else knew & the employee is now fired. Accidents happen, like the first day. But giving him the same toy AGAIN then OUR DOG SWALLOWED A WHOLE PART OF A TOY & WE WERE NEVER INFORMED IS NEGLIGENCE !! this could have lead to serious health complications with it going unknown. We are beyond lucky our dog threw it up. They did refund our stay & we are not sharing our experience for money we simply don’t want any other dogs in danger. While they may place the blame on one employee, Meredith’s dismissal of me when I called & the head trainer Conner lying during our tour. It takes a team to run a facility & the whole team failed us. Most of this takes place via text which I am happy to share. Save your dog and avoid this place.

The best experience, every single time. The staff is incredible and always flexible when it comes to scheduling. And we love our Melissa! Both grooming and boarding experiences have been top notch.
