Central Community Center

Very nice reliable soccer fields which are 10 dollars per person. The staff are very nice, there is even a gym, and basketball court. Very fun place to play sports and be active.

Space inside is larger than it seems from the outside. Has nice indoor soccer field that can be rented when not in use. Basketball court in great shape with new rims and backboards. Standard locker room and gym is average with limited equipment. Mostly older crowd with a few young kids mixed in. Not my favorite place to visit but will work out here if in the area.

Great people work there. If I had one criticism, it would be that the locker room and shower facilities need better cleaning. The showers still have sewer flies coming up on the walls. I was told a work order was issued to do something about this. Its nice to shower aftet a hard workout, then to travel refreshed to the job. The custodian has been great at trying to solve this issue. Hes a good guy as are all the employees.

Great indoor facility for soccer and ice skating. The weight room is clean but small. In comparison to Rec Plex, it's super tiny. If you need a quiet, quick, and limited/focused workout, this spot is for you. High school athletes frequently use this location, too, so be mindful of after-school and holiday break times if you want to use the gym during low-traffic times. Parking is limited as well. The location is right on Busse Road near Melas Park. Pulling in and out of the lot can give you a bit of anxiety due to the high volume of crazy that comes by. Just be patient and drive safely :) Staff are uber friendly and helpful!
