Nice facility with main entrance that allows you to choose between a park for small dogs and a park for larger dogs. Poo bags are provided and some minimalist dog training course objects you can use to train your dog. Lots of picnic tables for seating spread throughout the park. There are some small pot holes your dog could trip over chasing after balls and other dogs. Not many trees so it’s got in the summer but there is one oversized permanent canopy. Not having trees means no squirrels or birds so in a way it’s good so my dog won’t obsess the whole time. Water fountains run typically April through October. Then you need to bring your own water. It’s located next to the sanitary plant so when the wind is just right you will smell that. Price is fair. Approximately $70 per year and for $10 extra dollars you can gain access to the Urbana Bark Park. Free WiFi also available. And a porta potty.

it is a members only park, so if you live in the CU area, you can get a membership for this, its $41 per dog, $10 for each fob. you can also get a Urbana dog park fob for $10 if you have a Champaign dog park membership. this park is surprisingly big and there's a lot of room for my dog to run around! the dogs here are usually very well behaved, and its a great place for my dog to socalize with others. it does get muddy, especially near the entrance, and some people don't realize they have to pick up after their dogs, but overall its a great place to bring my dog.

I don’t usually feel compelled to leave a review anywhere but this was such a wonderful experience. I brought my puppy to the bark district and he loved it!… so did I. Everyone was so friendly i ended up staying way longer than I planned. We spent 2 whole hours there. I met some wonderful people and he befriended some wonderful pups 🥰 an amazing clean community for pets and their people ❤️

This is the best place to have your dog work out all of their extra energy, socialize with different types of dogs, and is quite relaxing for people as well. The park is very well maintained and there are usually a few other dogs there. All of the owners care deeply about their dogs and are willing to help break up the very rare fight.

Was just looking for a place for my dog to run, me being out of town. Stopped by the closest bog park I Googled, it looked amazing until I tried to get in. I guess people have to profit and be exclusionary in all aspects. private dog park
