Nice little path, about a half-mile long, to the beach. Quiet area with nice views of charlotte harbor. Walk the beach from there in either direction. Dog friendly. A few designated parking spots out front. Park on street when full. All free. No restrooms that I can recall.

Great hiking trails through the pine scrub to the shoreline. You can hike the shoreline for miles. Beautiful views, great fishing spots and tons of shade to throw a blanket down and picnic. Wonderful spot to hike and fish.

This was an easy flat walk on a mowed trail. There were only a couple other vehicles there and didn’t see too many other people. Lots of small crabs on the beach and fun to watch scramble for a hole as you walk along.

Beautiful. But of a weak to get to the water. But peaceful. Bout a mile there and back.

Perfect for a FL winter day. Bring your visitors here to see a gator. Ask at Environmental Center about open trails as the map doesn’t specify which trails are closed or rerouted due to water or construction. Would be muddy and buggy just after the rain or in mosquito heavy times. Can still walk through and enter when the car gate and Environmental Center building is closed.
