Cherry Avenue Park has a large children's play structure, plenty of open grassy spaces, large shade trees, a basketball court, dog park (small and large dog area) and a short walking trail. There are a couple of picnic tables and grills, water fountains for people and one for dogs in the dog park. Great park to visit.

Its a nice park where you can let your kids play, exercise or walk your dog Edit: still a nice park but the gates are locked with no explanations so I lowered my review from 5 to 3 stars.

It's a really nice park! Well maintained, although empty 🤷 that's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 because I came to the dog park but no one is ever here! I'm going to have to just keep driving and taking the dog to Reid park, because in the mornings, that place is always full!
