The bathrooms are constantly locked, so if you're popping in quickly (don't have the pavillion booked for an event) and your family has bladders I would recommend a different park. Packing up and leaving just to pee, even though they have perfectly functional restrooms, is more than a little annoying tbh.

This is a beautiful, but secluded park. Always very clean, there are basketball courts, a baseball field, a stream to wander and explore, picnic pavilions, porta pots. The only thing I dislike about this park is the seclusion.

Id never been to church Hill Park until I enjoyed a weekend with the camp fire street rodders there. It's a nice place. Beautiful pavillion with a deck overlooking the park.

I've been going to this park for so long and have seen a great amount of changes, the grills that have been at this park for ages are kind of still there, a few are missing where they once stood, I could also say the same about the vollyball court that was there at one point as well but has disappeared and turned into a lonely bench in the sun, they built a deck years back on the party pavilion, it has plenty of seating for get togethers and, medium sized parties, there is a play area for kids which consists of a few slides, some interactive features as well as a swingset, The basketball court has been there for years, and occasionally you'll see people playing there, and a small bathroom that honestly is kind of seedy at best, and usually locked. The park is closed at the weirdest times as far as for the season and they kind of just open and close it when they have the time to, usually its open during daytime and occasionally at night, it is patrolled by local police as well so it is a relatively safe area, nothing that you can't expect from any other city though. The parking is honestly not great, and there isn't even enough parking for as many seats are there even considering if they were to carpool. The trails that you find are small worn in paths and there isn't much there usually it leads to someone's backyard but that's to be expected, this is a very small park. It does have a creek which is kind of neat, really not supposed to be accessible but if you do go down be careful to check around for snakes, and don't step on the crawfish, also the rocks are very slippery from algae, all the technicals aside this park is small, not the world's cleanest or most interesting, and if you weren't looking for it you probably would never even knew it existed, but it's home it's where I have been going forever, either to hang out with friends after school or during summer, or making new memories with my son and family, i can only hope that one day they'll put in grills again and strip the peeling paint off the metal pavilion, and maybe occasionally remove the tons of wasps under them other than that ill keep going here anytime i just want to relax without having to deal with so many people

My puppy does love this park. The grass smells so good to him. 😆
