The staff was very rude. The woman that actually helped me was nice, but there were 2 men working as well, one bald and one with glasses. Not even sure why they got off their chairs because they didn't help with the situation at all. They just wanted to lecture me. I brought a cat in that seemed friendly, scared, but nice enough I was able to get it into a cage, cat was clearly cold and afraid. The men just kept telling me I was better off leaving the cat outside, saying the cat would not die from the cold and that I shouldn't be bringing in animals from outside. They didnt even let me speak kept talking over me as I was trying to explain the cat was cold and scared that it didnt seem like a feral cat, I was thinking its someone's lost pet so I brought it in. But they kept talking to me like I was dumb and saying they have years of training they know what theyre talking about. That this possible indoor cat, someone's pet would be perfectly find freezing in the cold. They had no concern for the cat, saying now i took someones cat and they wont come for it, but if its someones pet wouldn't they come looking for it calling shelters and animal control trying to find it?. They weren't even helping take the cat in, the woman was taking down the info scanning the cat and transferring all while these guys stood around lecturing me, barely helped. I guess they were bored of sitting and wanted to come out and lecture me instead of doing their job. I dont know how long the cat was outside for, sorry I saw a lost cold cat and didnt want to leave it.

This place really cares about the well-being of their animals! By far the best shelter Ive ever seen. Extremely clean, and well kept. The staff here is very helpful, and knowledgeable in everything animals. This is probably the best thing Cicero does for its community. 11/10!!!

Came in yesterday with a family member who was dropping off a donation, we ended up adopting a cat. Veronica was helpful.

The staff is great there. They did a tremendous job helping me with my dog. This place is the best! I would recommend too go there. You and your animals would have the best experience.

I had tenants that moved out and left their cat behind for 4days. Animal control came in a timely manner and treated the cat gently and with such tenderness. I sure their job isn’t easy and I really appreciate how they handled the situation.
