The off-lease dog park in Mendota Heights, Minnesota is a spacious and open area with a long hill that provides great exercise for dogs. While there aren't any preferred trails, it is still a pleasant park with friendly people, benches, picnic tables, and water stations. They also provide poop bags for convenience. Overall, it's a nice dog park to visit.

This is our favorite dog park in the twin cities. Good size, great dogs, friendly people. There is a bit of poison ivy on the far side. It's always pretty clean and then provide poop bags and a porta potty. Very good space, dogs love it here. There are three bowls for water that are mostly full, but it's good to bring your own water.

Beautiful setting, easy parking, and I really like the sections for large and small dogs that are separated.

Meet #Mr_Motley our 1yo COVID rescue. We just returned from the Mendota Heights Dog Park where he enjoyed the open space to run, chased, and be chased. He enjoyed meeting lots of new fur-friends and friendly humans. He did seem a little annoyed with the fence that kept him and the bigger dogs from the smaller dogs. And while I tried to explain to him why, he just looked at me with further annoyance... I enjoyed the open space as well, as it allowed me to keep an eye on Motley. This is our second dog park, last week I took him to one in Burnsville... that one was way too muddy and didn't have the run space like Mendota Heights, so this will likely be our go-to park.

We always have a good time at this dog park. It's well-maintained and the dogs are nice. Lots of room to run. Beautiful grass and very little mud or dirt.
