Small dog park, shady, place to cool down right off the walking, biking path, no bathrooms or porter johns, they got doggy bags, needs a trash can, NO door or separation

This is a small water drain area/park/dog park. This is not fully fenced area... so dogs and kids can escape. Also can be dangerous at times for small kids/seniors since dogs are running around. Busy during early morning or dusk

This is not a dog park. It is a City of Mesa Basin. It is NOT an off-leash facility. Unfortunately your dog will still need to be on a leash. I personally have advocated for the people of this neighborhood for years. This is another instance where people with dogs who don’t live in the neighborhood, that is to say own or rent a home in Millett Manor, want to come to the basin with their dogs off leash. Please find a City of Mesa designated “dog park” to brink your dog to. You may have to drive further than you would like but unfortunately not everyone especially homeowners want dogs at this basin.
