This park is our favorite in the entire area! It’s so adorable and the train is amazing. We have been coming to Monkey Park for over a year and a half. The train had not been in service the whole time.. I believe because of Covid, but we went a couple of weeks ago and they had it going!! We absolutely love this park! I could add a zillion photos because I always take them! It’s just so beautiful here!!
I brought my grandson here when he was little and he had a good time.i come here every day just to sit and enjoy the fresh air and clean park .
As you all see in photos, this park is kid friendly. Regardless of age of your kid, park have managed different sizes of fun stuffs like, swings, slides and many more. The beautiful river crosses the park in two halves and both sides have plenty of fun stuff. I would recommend this park if you are close to Opelika and Auburn.
Invited a few kids to cyberzone for my son's birthday and after we left we went to the monkey park for pizza and cake. It was very clean and a nice day at the park!
We were looking for a natural area to spend time with our kids and grill up some steaks. This place was a perfect fit for us. There were at least 3 grill locations with several playgrounds and some amazing natural areas. There is a beautiful covered bridge and lots of photo ops by the cascading creek under it. There are also several Nature trails. We opted to go to this park instead of Chewacla State Park because it was more convenient and had no entrance fee. Chewacla wanted to charge our family $24 for entrance, and we felt that this free park ended up being a much nicer experience for our family. Highly recommended.
