First time we visited! We enjoyed the small dog park where we found plenty of shade and benches as well as a picnic table. There’s water but no poop bags which wasn’t an issue for us since we always go out prepared. My dog loved the pathway to run around and all of the shade as well. A few other small dogs arrived while we were still there and everyone was friendly, humans included! The large dog portion is much larger and humans and dogs seemed friendly there as well but we stayed in the small dog area.

They have an area for only small and senior dogs. The entrance has small gated area that allows you to put your dog in a leash comfortable without chasing him around when playtime is over. Trash bags are always stocked if you forget to bring your own which is really nice. It’s also open late.

Hello fellow dog owners, first off this park is great, yet there are some flaws that you need to be aware of. As mentioned before this park has lots of space and a separate area for small and large dogs. This park is missing working water fountains for the dogs besides one foautin located on the small dog side of the park. The park was recently closed for maintenance (11/09-12/07), yet there seems to have been little done to fix this park. Overall great owners and dogs, but please bring water for your dog!!

One of the worst dog parks we have ever visited! I went to pick up my dog’s poop and saw that there was poop EVERYWHERE! People were just sitting around talking and no one cared to clean up after their pooch. The area under the shade canopy smelled so bad of urine that I couldn’t sit there. The water bowl for the dogs had dirt in it that would not drain. The city needs to go in there and do a thorough cleaning the the people need to do better to keep it clean for everyone!

Park is going down hill. Two things is significance, owners are not picking up after tgeir K-9s and water for the dogs has been cut off. I'm picking up more and more cold poop near where my dog goes. What's worse is that we are stepping in dog pies while walking on the path. The last 6 visits have resulted in poop embedded in the shoes. I'm witnessing more and more owners bringing their dogs into the park and they themselves sit on the bench and put their nose into their phone until they are ready to leave. We are coming here less often because of the poor dog owners. The water being turned off is troubling. If gives a sense that the park is not valued. This may be negatively influence the behavior of those who come to the park. Broken windows effect. Old Review: Great local dog park with little and big dog areas, dog drinking fountains, benches, and now evening lights. Most visitors are good responsible dog owners. Parking is good when baseball isn't played next door. If baseball is in season don't hesitate to park on the street just before turning into the park.
