Four-Mile Loop Trail: If you’re looking for a trail that truly feels like nature, the first half of this loop delivers. You start out in a beautiful nature reserve with a peaceful, scenic atmosphere. However, the second half of the loop is a letdown—it takes you out of the park and through fairly ordinary suburban neighborhoods. The trail signage is decent, but you still need to pay attention. My recommendation: when you reach the south end of the trail and start seeing houses again, turn around and head back the way you came. If you’re using Google Maps, you’ll notice when you exit the southern end of the nature park—that’s the point where it’s best to turn back. The return hike through the nature reserve is far more enjoyable than continuing through suburbia.

Trails of different caliber in this park. Tougher trails are more challenging when it's wet and can get muddy and slippery in places but the main trails are well maintained. There are plenty of wild flowers to keep your eyes busy and small crafted wood bridges to help navigate through the wetlands. Warning signs of possible black bear sightings, so good to be alert. This location also has a small dog park and a fish hatchery. The creek here is protected for spawning as posted.

Love this park! Nice playground with a bathroom near and picnic tables both covered and out in the field next to the playground. The trails are clean and beautiful greenery. A little incline here and there but not much. There is cute little information boards down by the creek.

Good spot to park and hit the amenities before hitting the trails. The trails are largely unmarked and even the Puyallup Loop Trail gets confusing as some posts are just leaning up against fallen trees… better maps of the area could benefit park goers.
