On a roadtrip with our family & we just wanted to let our boy play after being in the car for 4 hours. This park is close to our hotel, so we stopped before checking in. No where in the Google listing does it mention that you need a key. Ended up with him back on a leash for just a regular walk. If it isn't a public access park then don't call it one & let people waste their time.

Clayton Dog Park is spacious; almost 2 acres. It is within a fenced portion of Anderson Park off of Clayton Rd West of Bentwood Blvd). A code is needed to enter. Memberships can be obtained at the Center of Clayton (50 Gay Rd). Within the Dog Park, there are benches, water hydrants, and on one side I noticed a small pool for dogs to cool down. I do not know if the hydrants operate year-round. I noticed that one of the benches had an umbrella for a little shade. I did not see any agility equipment. Anderson Park lacks restrooms. All of the benches are within the Dog Park.

I really wish I had known this was a private dog park before I ventured half an hour off our road trip route to give my dogs an exercise break. I don't understand how multiple dog parks in this city are marked as members only but this one isn't. It's unnecessarily deceptive

Absolute shit that you need memberships for dog parks in the first place. Would have been nice to know you need one for this one as it does not specify that online

They ruined the old dog park.
