It has a beautiful paved path perfect for biking, walking, running, or skating, along with scenic dirt trail offshoots for a more natural feel. The river views are stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a great place to relax or get some exercise. Well maintained and versatile, it’s a spot you can enjoy year-round.

Great for swimming, be careful of the current and make sure to wear sunscreen. when there is a rope swing up it is very fun, or you could float from the boat dock upstream to the lower one.

Nice parking lot with flushing toilets/clean bathrooms. There's a boat launch, and a path that leads from Clearwater Park at 42nd all the way to Doris Ranch Park on 2nd Street in Springfield.

Clean, free of homeless, and frequent visits from rangers and sheriff's. Hard not to feel safe, bathrooms are clean and free of drug paraphernalia. Life jacket station also available with free to use (and return) lifejackets. Paths are also very nice. All in all I have yet to have a bad experience here.
