Cobblestone Park

I live in the neighborhood adjacent to this park and we walk our dog there often. It's a lovely little park and is well maintained. HOWEVER... the pond is a hazard, in that there is not enough good signage warning people to keep off the ice in the winter. I saw 2 young unsupervised boys playing on the thin ice tonight, so I called the cops to have them tell the kids to keep out of the pond. That may seem extreme, but I didn't know who else to call. It's after dark, and if one of them fell in and drowned, no one would know. Also, there is one man who appears to live in the apartments next to the park who always walks through the park with his unleashed dog. Not only do we have leash laws, but this dog can not easily be recalled when it gets excited to see other dogs. I would appreciate some "keep dogs leashed" signs in the park. I know it's a small park and may seem insignificant, but it's often busy with many kids and dogs. It needs better signage and monitoring.

Unfortunately this beautiful parks perimeter has become a Junk Yard for unlicensed cars, work vehicles and to top it off TACO TRUCKS, too bad WESTMINSTER PD and the HOA doesn't care...

Great park but this so called "war" between the kids and squirrels needs to end.
