Absolutely fun park to take your kids. They have different structures for different aged kids, separated by area. The grass area is plenty large for different kid parties. There is a hiking trail around the area and a concrete slide! What I didn't like was a reasonable restroom to take a toddler. It was a brick shack with a chain as a door. Single occupant.

I'm not from the area so this was a nice find. The park is spacious and has different age appropriate play areas. The view is beautiful from the street and from the rose garden.

Codornices is an expansive park opposite the Berkeley Rose Garden. Great for families and all ages. There are play structures for both smaller and older children. The concrete slide is recommended for all - even brave adults who can keep their elbows and knees in! Just be sure to bring or find a sturdy piece of cardboard to prevent personal injury. The park also contains a basketball court, baseball field, picnic areas, grassy hillside, and hiking trails. The hills and dirt trails can be a bit muddy during the rainy season. You can use the tunnel to cross into the Rose Garden under Euclid St.

Perfect place for kids and adults! There is a short trail for sightseeing or relax. Two playgrounds for kids, one is for little ones, the other is for elder kids. The kid really loves the concrete slide! Several picnic areas, big grassland, basketball courts, tennis courts, you name it. Besides, there’s a rose garden for a visit through the tunnel. The restroom of the rose garden side is quite clean with washing facilities, while the slide side without the washing facilities.

Wonderful gem of a park to visit with family or solo. It’s got a play area for kids but plenty to explore outside of that area. Beautiful views when you walk up the hill.
