Beautiful winding trails, clean beach, well maintained. Some trails are steep, and most as far as I’m aware are un pathed, but for those who enjoy that, this park is perfect.
I love this spot! Cool, historic, long trails that lead to the water. There is’s not a great place to park besides along the road. There’s plenty of variety of terrain here too.
Amazing Place, Dakota Tribe Land and very beautiful
Great place for hiking and walking the dog. There is an off-leash dog area that is a blast for everyone and an extensive network of paths that will keep you moving for a whole afternoon or more if you choose to explore the area. Some paths have steep inclines, so come prepared with proper footwear and expect a workout if you hike.
So glad I stopped here for a hike! Lovely place and only saw three others on a weekday evening. Minnehaha Trail connects Minnehaha Falls and Fort Snelling, awesome trail!
