Cole Park

Clean park. I went there to metal detect (my hobby) and there was remarkably little garbage like pull tabs, bottle caps, etc. It looks like they replaced to tot lot wood chips with soft rubber flooring, which was soft to walk on. Overall a nice little park

Great park It's hidden, peaceful, nice grass and trees. Great for.dogs, kids, and families picnicking. The playground is fun. The grass is well kept and there are many places to walk, not just around the park, but through the neighborhoods. I've been as a kid, adult, on dates, and now with my family. It's a great place.

so peaceful and quiet! theres a really nice play area for the kids, and the ground inside the play area is padded! the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful as well! i definitely recommend if you do visit this particular park to show respect and

Too many dogs off leash running around and uncontrolled. It's become a dog park, not a quiet, peaceful people park. People walking to park from surrounding areas are loud, cut through yards, litter, and don't pick up after their dogs.

I have mixed feelings about Tenaya/Cole Park. First off, was it legally renamed to Cole Park? I can't find any articles on it being renamed so I'm leaning more towards Google being confused. Anyways, I used to love this park as a preteen & teen (my parents moved about 5 min walk away when I was a preteen), but lately there's been so many people with dogs - especially people who let their dogs off-leash, so I can't take my dogs there anymore because I can't control someone else's dogs PLUS my two if they were to get into a fight. It's sad because I used to love taking my older baby to tenaya Park before she passed over the rainbow bridge. But otherwise, it is a cute little park that's great for kids & exercise. (My review pic is of me & my baby at tenaya Park back in 2012, when I felt like I could sometimes bring my dog without other dogs being off-leash. I will update with more modern pics later)
