Great park to visit with kids and family. Stage by the water with live performances. Good playground. Splash pad for the kids in the Summer. Public bathroom. There are no grills but plenty of picnic tables. Sports fields and courts too. There is also a Pavillion for rent if you are having a party. Definitely reccomend. It's also close to Jumping Jack's where you can easily stop for food or ice cream afterwards.

It is a lovely little park. I have many nice memories of coming here as a child. Today it is most sad that they haven't reopened/cleaned up adequately to reopen the pond for swimming during the hot summer. Make a Go FundMe page if you need, but the swimming options for Scotia residents are either expensive for pool clubs or non existent. Polluted pond and polluted river. :-(

Very well maintained park. Good sized park with slides and swings. Splash pad is a lot of fun and great for all families to cool off on a hot summer day. Great sized lake for fishing and kayaking. Beautiful trees and walkways for my photography.

This park has something for everyone. Baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, large lake, swimming beach, car top boat ramp, play ground, covered pavilion, picnic tables, dog park and public bathrooms. Just no playing golf, flying drones, archery or metal detectors. You can walk across the street to Jumpin Jack's Drive-In to pick up food.

This park is located in Scotia across the street from both Jumping Jacks Drive In & Freedom Park. It's a small park with 2 basketball courts, a small playground & a few bench's. There isn't a pavilion. There are public bathrooms. There's a walkway around the park & you will often find people walking dogs & children riding bikes. It's clean & the grounds are well taken care of. I am only rating the park with 4 stars because of it's size.
