If you have your own kayak, this might be the best place to launch your boat and experience the most pleasant urban waterways that Wilton Manors has to offer. If you head east (left from the boat ramp), you will be treated to some fascinating backyards with modest to magnificent homes and small power boats docked along the way. The waters were calm. The only wildlife we saw was the occasional stoic iguana. No manatees. We made it as far as George English Park, where you can rent kayaks. That was about 3 miles from Colohatchee Park, where we started. Had we had the energy to go a little farther, we would have entered the much wider Intercoastal waterway and home to mega yachts and mega mansions. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were closed at the park. Across the street where the park continues, there's a short boardwalk trail that runs through the mangrove canopy. Alas, at the end of that walk, the bathrooms were also closed. We went to the nearby Publix, eight blocks away.

What's up Googler's, I just wanted to leave my review because I used to come here when I was a kid, like 11 or 12, and I was in the neighborhood crabbing across the street. So I thought I'd take a walk and stop by. There used to be a basketball court here and a playground. The playground is a little bit smaller, but it's really now more of a dog park from what im seening. Just giving everybody a heads up, please, if you are enjoying the reviews, you know what to do.

So pretty!!! Nice long bridge in this swampy area with beautiful trees that leads to a fairly big dog park. Also some outdoor workout equipment. There were some creepy guys just standing on the bridge in random spots which made me realize that it might be a cruise spot but they seemed harmless. Would go back for sure.

Loved this Park. Looks like nothing from side of road really but still intriguing. When I entered you walk down this wooden bridge for a decent walk with this lake and trees as far as u can see. I will admit I did get a little spooked at first being a girl on my own however I made it down the bridge and got to a awesome dog park. It has a grill and covered seating with a playground and a dog 🐶 park behind it. People were so pleasant and dogs just adorable! Will definitely being my dog!
