The Spanish moss trees were beautiful, and walking along the river was very peaceful and enjoyable. However, after a short distance, there was construction, so the walk couldn’t continue very far. I’m not sure when the construction will be finished, but it’s something to keep in mind. Despite that, it’s still a lovely place to walk and enjoy the river views.

We enjoyed a wonderful time walking some of the beautiful river front trail and resting at times in the benches. A safe and beautiful place to visit and you might even pack a lunch. The rest rooms were clean. People of all ages were tubing down the river too!

Pretty cool spot. It has an interesting history. The river seemed pretty clean. Utilized by local walkers and cyclists. People having picnics. And I really like that there are hammock frames down by the river.

Such a relaxing place to visit. There were even hammock stands where you can hang your own hammock.

We walked for a good cause. In to the Darkness, suicide prevention in honor of Chris and my brother Frankie. Meet a lot of ppl and it was a great turnout.
