This is a convenient park and playground if you are visiting the Mission heritage site nearby. I appreciate that many of the stone picnic tables are in the shade with grills nearby. There are public restrooms near the playground. I loved the tall pecan trees. They were very beautiful and offered a pleasant breeze in the heat of the day. There are plenty of parking spots in two different areas. There is an observation tower that you can climb made out of stone.

My grandson had some tournament basketball games at this location. Very well set up with 6 quarts inside the building. Snack shack available for various items including sodas and drinks and various sandwiches and such. Including an automatic yogurt machine to the side. I like this place very much.

Update: Been here twice in the last two weeks, there’s been 5 different stray dogs here. They don’t seem aggressive but I had to pick my dog up to keep them away. Really awesome park. Clean and a lot of space so that it doesn’t feel crowded on the weekend. Dog friendly and many different trails to explore. There’s bike patrol.

Came to this gym to watch my nephew play in a tournament. The grounds are well kept and the gym is very nice.

It was a pretty nice park, the only negative is that the area is a little sketchy, but the park itself was pretty clean (although sadly there was a bit of trash along the riverwalk). There was also a police car in the parking lot and even a bicycle police officer riding up and down the walking trail on the river which made me feel safer. I'd definitely go back, my kids loved the playground and the Riverwalk trails.
