I love this park, it's expansive enough for our dogs to run and small enough you can keep sight of them, and most the people I meet there are wise (as in they don't bring aggressive/territorial/nervous dogs). It's super helpful to have the adjacent small dog park as well, since it can be dangerous and overwhelming for tiny dogs to meet lots of large dogs, even when they are being friendly/playful. My only complaint is that the fence in the lake area of the dog park does not extend very far into the lake, so that unless it has rained much recently, the dogs can easily escape down the dry shore of the lake since it's not fenced very far. Fortunately it is a separate, fenced-off part of the park but unfortunately I cannot usually take one of my dogs swimming, since she will escape if she gets the chance. There is also a water-bowl station, a restroom, and nearby trails, which our dogs love exploring.

This is the best designed dog park we have ever visited! We were traveling through the area and wanted to tire the dogs for the next leg of our trip so we stopped. Very large areas with plenty of shade. Shaded walking trail around most of the park. Access to water for swimming or wading. Most impressive was a pier for dog diving. While our dogs did not participate it was fun to watch the ones that did. Disappointed that the doggy drinking fountains did not work but we always carry our own water.

I take my dogs almost every day to our local pretty urban dog park (don't get me wrong it's pretty awesome) but they had an absolute field day swimming off the ramp. The people and dogs we encountered were friendly and chill. No ball thieves :) Not many other features besides the wooded area but tons of room for pups to play and fresh water. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Knoxville.

Nice and clean dog park with bathrooms. The dogs have an area to jump in and take a swim!

We were staying at a hotel visiting the area, so this park was exactly what my dog needed 👏. The large dog park was one of the best I have visited, we came back the second day, and once we drove into the parking lot, she didn't even hesitate to get out of the car when it was raining. The only issue is when it does rain the area where you walk in pools up fast as most of the park is graded uphill from the entrance. Other than that it was a hit. She is part hound so having the wooded area allowed her to be in her environment, where as the water dogs could go do their thing in the alloted water area. Such a great layout!
