Perfect sized trails. Walkable. Bathrooms in building. Playground. Many benches. Dog friendly. All ages.

Has bathrooms, volleyball court, sometimes there’s a slushy truck which I haven’t seen in years and has good prices. Plenty of tables and kayak and paddleboard rental. Pretty good beach. Wish there were more grills available but it’s in an extremely good area and the Craven Wings that’s right down the road 4 minutes makes it an even better spot to be.

Beautiful place for a morning out evening walk. Not suitable for the night as it is not a well lit area.

The park is a wonderful place to enjoy the water. It has a playground, a pavilion, and a little snack shack. With one quick glance, you can see that money must grow on trees in this area. It’s not hard to figure out why it’s so nice. I’ve looked for these trees but have yet to find one. I’ll keep looking, but in the meantime, I’ll continue to enjoy the park that the opulence of the area has afforded me. Side note, yes it’s close to the road and you can hear the noise but this is pretty much as good as you are going to find with public access in this area.

Great trails with lots of options for how far you feel like walking. Dog friendly hiking!
