Really enjoyed walking around this place. A lot to see. Plenty to learn. And an overall peaceful space.

Such a fantastic spot for a stroll on a beautiful day! This park offers tons of pathways to explore, all while enjoying gorgeous flowers and trees. You'll find benches scattered throughout, so there's always a convenient place to take a break. For families, there are a couple of play areas for kids, including a giant chess set and a sand area with shovels. Entry is free, which is a huge plus! Just a heads-up, if you're planning on professional photography, you'll need a $10 photography pass. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun outdoor experience!

This is one of my favorite places to go! I'm a huge nature person and I love seeing all the different types of flowers, trees, and bushes planted in this garden throughout the year. And it's all done while conserving water! The signs around the garden talk about how water conservation works and even give tips for those who want a water-conserving lawn. There's even a giant chess set that you can play with. :) I usually come here to meditate and just walk around on a nice quiet day, and I love looking at the different flowers. Keep in mind that the garden is closed on Sundays and holidays, so you'll want to plan around that. ***UPDATE: I was just informed that the garden is open on some holidays, just thought I'd put that here. :)

FREE ENTRY. I love the mission, the public and private investment coming together, the walkability, the thorough explanations and models. Visit to plan your yard or just to relax! We went at sunset and it was nearly empty. So peaceful. You can take family photos here for a fee too. Edited to add: yes, I specified there was a fee for taking staged family photos :)

Wow, this is a respectably beautiful botanical garden for real. I thought it is a public park with a few plants and I was all wrong. Look at the indigo, peonies, salvia, iris, roses, primrose of all species in full bloom. I am especially impressed with the meticulous labeling of plant species names. It is also pleasure to walk along a tributary of Jordan River.
