Really pretty spot for a walk, picnic, volleyball, or just hanging out. There are shaded spots and grassy areas as well as rest rooms. The water is beautiful to be around but no swimming. There is a pool there and nice lockers and such but it was closed when we went.

My dog had a blast! Look at her face! She said 10/10. It’s beautiful during the fall. Easy, long yet short walk.

Contra Loma Regional Park is always a win. It’s a great place for a good picnic as they have a good amount of picnic tables, playground so kids can play, little league baseball games during the spring, and great hiking trails. There are great hills to hike up for a to get some amazing views especially toward the back of the park. I recommend this to everyone who is looking to sit at a picnic table or sit in the grass for a nice little picnic, or to enjoy for a good hike. Regardless this place is a great place to spend a few hours.

Nice hiking spot with hillside views. This looks like it would be a great summer location when the pool is open. Many people fishing on the reservoir and opportunity to see some wildlife. There are a few trails so all hiking levels are welcomed

Jule 2025 Great park for strolling, picnic. Easy hike around the reservoir (1h) named Contra Loma Shore Loop. Near a big parking. $5 for the entry.
