Love this place it's really nice but it's not as big as you would think as in trails but thats OK we still love it here just be careful of those attacking squirrels they do exist.

Great city park with something for everyone. Love seeing then kayakers and standup paddle boarderslaunch their crafts into the tualaitn River. Also love the easily accessible butterfly garden off the main paved path. There are some non paved path connecting some areas. I bring my bike to ride the paved trails to Tualatin and Browns Ferry park. It is great starting point. Only concern is that also E bikes and e-Scooters live the connection and treat it like a highway. And it is pedestrian heavy in the park portion, and blind curves. Should be signs for e riders to reduce speed on that section heading toward railway bridge.

We went for the playground and it was amazing! My 2.5 year old played for an hour and could have kept going. My infant was able to crawl a lot since it was turf and enjoyed the smaller structures to stand up on. Will definitely be back!

One of the best play structures in the Portland area! This park has it all, and lots of seating around the play area for parents. You can hit up 2 separate play structures then take a really nice nature walk. Beautiful ❤️

Cook Park: A Magical Oasis in Tigard Cook Park is one of the most magical places I’ve ever visited. Nestled in Tigard, this park radiates a warm, positive sun energy that makes every visit feel like a retreat into nature’s embrace. With two soccer fields and two baseball fields, it’s a fantastic spot for sports lovers, while the state-of-the-art playground keeps kids entertained for hours. The butterfly garden is a peaceful sanctuary filled with vibrant colors and delicate wings dancing in the sunlight. But perhaps the most enchanting feature is the river, where kayakers and paddle boarders glide effortlessly across the water, adding to the park’s serene atmosphere. Beyond its natural beauty and recreational offerings, Cook Park has a unique charm—small trinkets and treasures left behind by kindred spirits. Whether it’s a painted rock, a tiny figurine, or an unexpected token of goodwill, these little surprises make every visit feel special. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a touch of magic, Cook Park is a place that welcomes all with open arms. It’s a true gem, and once you experience its energy, you’ll understand why it holds a special place in so many hearts.
