Nice neighborhood park; it makes me wish I lived closer. The improvements recently made are completed, and the construction barriers a few other reviewers have talked about are no longer their. The new beach is shown below. The mangrove island of the shore works to break up the waves and avoid erosion of the sand, but its not doing a great job yet (as you may be able to tell from the pictures). I suppose once the mangroves grow the beach will be more protected, but in the meantime I hope the city periodically replenishes the sand that washes away.

Love the new remodeling. Now they have a small sanded beach area where you can go 🛶 canoeing and fishing. The park has a very tall slide that my kids also loved. They have exercise machines. The parking space is very limited, but well worth going with the kids.

Our new favorite. Playground is in natural shade under trees. Additional pine trees recently planted. We even saw kids snorkeling in the tiny bay by the river. Lots of mullet, too.

Very nice park! Beautiful playground! Nice water side... the only cons, there's no bathrooms

Clean and serene. Nice to bring the kids and sit by the water, watching the boats go by. The kids love the playground.
